This Storage Agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the terms under which Cookeville Boatdock Storage (“Company”) provides covered and/or uncovered parking/storage spaces (“Space”) for boats, RVs, campers, trailers, and other vehicles (“Stored Items”).
By renting a storage space, you (“Customer”) agree to the following terms:
1. Services Provided
The Company provides parking/storage space only.
We do not:
  • Provide insurance for stored items
  • Provide maintenance services
  • Guarantee protection against weather, theft, or damage
The Customer is solely responsible for insuring their stored vehicle.
2. Rental Term & Payments
  • Rent is billed [monthly/annually].
  • Payments are due on your reservations day, monthly.
  • Late fees apply after [3] days past due.
  • Failure to pay may result in:
    • Denied access
    • Overlock or immobilization
    • Lien sale (where allowed by law)
3. Access & Security
We may provide:
  • Gated or coded entry
  • Cameras or monitoring systems
However, Company does not guarantee security.
Customer stores vehicle at their own risk.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customer agrees to:
  • Keep contact information updated
  • Maintain insurance on stored vehicle
  • Keep the storage space clean and free of hazards
  • Ensure vehicle is operational (unless specifically allowed otherwise)
  • Not store hazardous, flammable, or illegal items
5. Prohibited Items
Customer may not store:
  • Chemicals, fuels (beyond vehicle fuel tanks), explosives
  • Food or perishable goods
  • Living animals
  • Anything unlawful
  • Any item unrelated to the described vehicle
6. Damage & Liability
The Company is not liable for:
  • Theft
  • Vandalism
  • Fire
  • Water or weather damage
  • Rodents, pests, or insects
  • Mechanical failure of your vehicle
  • Acts of God
Customer accepts full responsibility for their vehicle and any damage they cause to the facility.
7. Termination
The Company may terminate immediately for:
  • Non-payment
  • Violations of facility rules
  • Unsafe or illegal behavior
  • Owners Consent
8. SMS/Text Message Consent
Customer agrees that:
  • The Company may send text messages related to billing, access, emergencies, or account issues.
  • Standard rates apply.
Customer may opt out by replying STOP or contacting the Company.
9. Facility Rules
Customer agrees to comply with:
  • Posted signage
  • Operating hours
  • Access procedures
  • Safety protocols
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Tennessee.
Customer Acknowledgment
By renting storage space, the Customer agrees they have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement and the Privacy Policy.
